I will never share your personal data with anyone, ever. In the event that an application I produce is acquired by another entity, you will have an opportunity to have your data involved in the acquisition. However, it will not be involved if you do not directly respond positively to requests for such action.
In all applications, tools, utilities, mailing lists, databases, and anything else I create while operating in a web developer or software engineering role: I will keep any information you provide a closely guarded secret. This includes personal, private, medical, or any other user-generated data. Though it is not my aim to create any database or application which is made for you to enter legally protected data, in the case that it is entered anyway – it will be safe with me. Without your individualized and verified express written consent, I will not sell, exchange, trade, give, or otherwise release your information to any individual, organization, company, or group. I will never update this policy to provide the blanket ability to release said information at a later time in any way that might go unnoticed by the users of the apps and databases I create. If this policy needs to change, you will be notified directly, repeatedly, over multiple weeks for your approval of the voluntary release of your data to the entity to which it will be provided. If no response or approval is given, the data will not be exchanged, and in the event that it must be expunged or deleted, a backup will be stored and provided to you at no cost so that you may retrieve it.
It is now and will never be my aim to profit from the data that users produce on the applications and databases I create.
Signed,
William Alexander Forbes
